Ocean Winds met with suppliers of offshore wind energy services and components

June 9, 2022. Ocean Winds, one of the TOP5 global leaders in the offshore wind industry, held an open Suppliers Day meeting for companies interested in supplying services and components in the offshore industry. The formula of the meeting “100 questions to OW” proved to be very successful – OW representatives answered specific questions from potential suppliers concerning many issues such as the schedule of investment implementation or the principles of the procurement process.

“We treat the Polish market as a priority, so we are pleased with the interest in our offer and the numerous questions that we were able to answer during the meeting. It was attended by over 200 companies from both the SME and large enterprises, which only confirms the need for dialogue and direct contacts with suppliers.” explained Kacper Kostrzewa, Director of BC-Wind, implemented by Ocean Winds in Poland.

During the talks, Ocean Winds representatives presented schedules and order packages and offers to potential suppliers.

“The experience and presence of Ocean Winds in many foreign development projects, gives Polish companies a unique opportunity to undertake cooperation not only within the domestic supply chain, but also the possibility to access offshore wind projects developed around the world.” – said Kacper Kostrzewa, Director of BC-Wind.
