BC-Wind team for local communities

On October 17-19, 2023, the BC-Wind team organized a campaign for the local community of Pomerania, where our service port and wind farm power evacuation infrastructure will be located.

On the first day of the meeting, in an effort to minimize our impact on the environment, we cleaned up the forest and a stretch of beach near the location of the O&M port for BC-Wind, which is Władysławowo. The team collected about 30 bags of trash from the beach and forest, which were handed over to the Forestry Commission in Jastarnia for recycling.

The next day we visited the location of the cable route and the onshore substation, where an engaging field game awaited us! Divided into nine teams, together we followed the route that the cable connecting our wind farm to the onshore substation will take in the future. The game required us to complete a variety of tasks on the technical aspects of offshore wind farms, as well as logical and creative tasks.

In addition, we have established cooperation with the Communal Circle of Rural Housewives in Kopalin, in the Choczewo municipality, who prepared a warm treat for us. This is an excellent example of how a cohesive and motivated team can effectively achieve goals both internally and externally by engaging in social actions.
